SW Global’s newest product vertical is eHealthcare. We recognize the vast need for automation within the healthcare industry and have developed software solutions aimed to improve both internal efficiency and services offered to patients.
The Company’s vision is to become the dominant provider of Healthcare Information Management Systems in Africa. In an initial and significant step, SW Global Limited has been awarded contracts to automate two of the largest hospital systems in Ghana. From this base, our company is positioned to expand our eHealth division to our other markets across the Continent.
Our current products in this space include:
- Healthcare Management Information System (HMIS)
HMIS is a bundled Healthcare provider and Health Insurance Management Information System. It includes:
a. HMIS Inpatient - an inpatient electronic medical records system designed to manage admission, discharges and billing and used by the inpatient services of secondary healthcare providers.
b. HMIS Lab - a laboratory management information system for ordering tests, results reporting, billing and registration
c. HMIS Pharm - a pharmacy management information system for medication dispensing, inventory, billing, drug information and interactions, are also provided.
- Claims and Administration Management Information System (CAMIS).
CAMIS is a product for Health Management Organizations (HMOs) processing of claims, registration and administration of members and providers, and collection of contributions and payment of providers.
a. CAMIS - also supports systems administration and reporting (rendering statistical data on HCPs to the scheme). A Monitoring and Surveillance Management Information System for the government regulators is planned (the design concept follows the US Material Data Sheets (MDS) System).
